As Energy Action continues to grow, our goal remains the same, to help our clients understand and take control of their energy needs. As a result we have seen new opportunities arise in key positions within our company and are excited to announce two internal promotions in our Projects and Advisory and Procurement teams.

Ed Hanna
Edward Hanna 
General Manager of Projects and Advisory Services

Edward Hanna was a foundation employee at Energy Action when it formed as a Dotcom in 2000, and was a member of the board from 2003 until 2013. Edward’s career in the energy sector has been dedicated to supporting Australian businesses optimise their energy and cost reduction outcomes, and improve their asset values. His career trajectory has spanned energy pricing and trading, contract management, and onsite energy efficiency and supply. Over The last 2 years Edward has been contributing to energy action by building out a business unit to assist our clients take advantage of the opportunities presented by the convergence of grid side and onsite supply technologies across precincts. 

In taking on the role as the leader of energy action’s projects and advisory team, Edward is focused on leading his team to bring practical solutions that assist Our clients to make good energy decisions in respect of their energy operations, projects and strategy. He will be seeking to expands the teams reach to support both asset owners and tenants realise the value of controlling their energy usage and spending. 


Ettiene Quayle
Etienne Quayle
National Energy Procurement Manager

Etienne Quayle brings over 23 years of experience in the energy sector to his new role as Energy Action's National Energy Procurement Management. Starting his energy career internationally as the Head of I&C Gas at EDF Energy in the UK, he then migrated to Australia and worked with Western Power and Perth Energy for the past 11 years. Etienne now makes the move across Australia to bring his wealth of knowledge and strong management background to head our procurement team. Witnessing first hand the changes in the Australian energy sector over the last decade, he's grown a strong interest in all forms of renewable energy and sustainability. 

Bringing his experience navigating the complex energy market in the West Coast, in his new role, Etienne is focused on enhancing the cohesion, efficiency and cooperation between departments within Energy Action, as well as maintaining and growing the relationships that we have with our valued retailers. He seeks to secure the best market prices and contract conditions to suit Energy Action's client needs whilst providing an efficient service and accurate reports to assist our customers to make the best choice in what can be a complex process.
